Who sells MeetBar
MeetBar is sold by Thanapat P., a sole proprietor based in Bangkok, Thailand. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD (THB in Thailand); any sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where required.
The software
- MeetBar is licensed, not sold. One licence covers 1 Mac that you personally use.
- Like any software, MeetBar can have bugs.
- Your notes are plain files on your disk. You own them. Keep backups: like any app, MeetBar cannot restore files you delete.
Trial, price and Show-only
- Trial. Every account starts with 14 days free after Google sign-in. Everything is on. No card is taken for the trial, so there is nothing to cancel. If you need more time, you can add 1 month free, one time per account.
- Price. $9.99, paid once (฿229 in Thailand). Payments are run by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
- Pay once means one payment for the current major version and every update to it, for as long as MeetBar is maintained.
- 1 Mac per licence. Each licence works on one Mac at a time. You can move it to another Mac from your account page. Using MeetBar on a second Mac at the same time needs a second licence.
- Show-only. After your free days end without a licence, MeetBar switches to Show-only: the bar still shows your next meeting, joining and notes wait for a licence. Your notes stay.
- If you connect your own AI provider or API key, charges from that provider are yours.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may be added by the payment provider based on where you are.
Refunds
Any paid licence can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email us with your order details. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.
Fair use
- Do not resell, sublicense, or share licence keys beyond the 1 Mac a licence covers.
- Do not reverse engineer the app or its licence checks.
- Do not use MeetBar to record people where the law or the meeting's rules require their consent and you do not have it. Recording is your responsibility.
Third parties
Meeting links open in the app or browser you already use (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and others). Sending items to Reminders, Things, Notion and similar apps uses those apps' own terms. AI providers you connect are governed by their terms.
No warranty, limited liability
MeetBar is provided as is. We do not promise it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for MeetBar in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here removes rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
Ending things
You can stop using MeetBar at any time by deleting it. We can end a licence that is being abused, with a refund of the unused part where the law requires it.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. If we change them in a way that matters, the version and date at the top change and the site will say so. Questions: email us.
