Can anyone get MeetBar?
Not yet. MeetBar is an invite-only beta. Have a code? Enter it when you sign in. No code? Email support@meetbar.app for one.
Does it work with Google Calendar, Outlook and iCloud?
Yes. If your Mac's Calendar app already shows it, MeetBar does too: Google, Outlook, Exchange, iCloud. There's no extra login, so nothing else to set up.
Why do I have to sign in with Google just to download?
It's only for your licence. MeetBar never sees your calendar. Once you have the licence it works offline, so a flaky connection on a train won't lock you out.
What happens when the 14 days are up?
You can keep MeetBar for $9.99, once, for 1 Mac. Need more time? Add 1 month free, one time. If you don't, MeetBar goes Show-only. The bar still shows your next meeting, the rest just waits for you.
I paid and it is not for me. Can I get my money back?
Yes, within 14 days, no hoops. Email support@meetbar.app with your order and you get the full $9.99 back.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay $9.99 once and MeetBar is yours on that Mac, with every update. Nothing renews, so there is nothing to cancel. A second Mac is another $9.99.
Is this going to buzz at me all day like Calendar does?
No. About two minutes before a meeting you get one soft heads-up pill. Tap the time to move it or cancel. Sounds hush during calls, and one switch turns the motion off.
Where do my meeting notes actually go? Any cloud?
Nowhere. They stay on this Mac. When you want them somewhere else, copy a note as Markdown and paste it into whatever you already use.
Does it run on Windows or my iPhone?
Not yet, sorry. It's a Mac app: macOS 15 or newer, Apple silicon. No Windows, no iPhone.
